SILICON COATED FIBRE-GLASS
DESCRIPTION
This product consists of a fibre-glass support coated with a silicon elastomer.
Silicon-coated fabrics can be used in a wide variety of industrial applications, such as: Retraction tunnels, foam manufacture, electrical insulation ribbons, conveyor belts, safety curtains, release and separation sheets, seal joints.
PROPERTIES
Resists temperatures of -70°C to +230°C over time
Odourless and tasteless. Suitable for food contact
Excellent resistant to chemicals: bases, non-oxidising acids, most salts, mineral oils and lubricant oils
Very good resistance to air, humidity and sunlight
Very flexible

The fibre-glass is generally covered in silicon rubber on both sides, but single-sided silicon coatings are available upon request.

Silicon-coated fibre-glass is used to manufacture your conveyor belts, but it is also available per m² or cut into 30m rolls at the width of your choice.
